Tammy works at the Philippi office and has lived in Barbour county most of her life. She attended Philip Barbour High School and then attended the former Webster college in Fairmont, WV where she graduated with an Associates degree in accounting and data processing. She is the mother of three boys: James Poe was a 2008 graduate of Philip Barbour High School and is now a miner at the Imperial deep mine. Taner Sandy is a Junior at Philipi Barbour High School, and is on the varsity wrestling team. Jason Poe is a Sophomore at Philip Barbour High School. He is a member of the varsity football team and wrestling team.
She is an active member in Barbour county youth and livestock. She is the leader of the Ten Mile Ridgerunner 4-H Club, the secretary of the Barbour County 4-H Leaders, she is also a member of the Barbour County Livestock, and WV Farm Bureau, and she is a member of the Barbour County FFA Alumni. In addition to her duties promoting agriculture in Barbour County, she is a team mom for Philip Barbour football and wresting teams.
In her free time she enjoys working on her farm, raising a garden, canning, reading, spending time with her family, and watching her boys play in whatever sport there in at the time. She attends the Light of Christ Chapel in Belington.
